Watchmaking workshop with Maurice de Mauriac

Join us for an immersive watchmaking workshop in collaboration with Maurice de Mauriac - an independent Swiss watchmaker known for its bold designs, craftsmanship, and strong family heritage.

The workshop begins with an exclusive tour through the Maurice de Mauriac shop and workspace, where you’ll discover the story behind the brand, its history, and its approach to contemporary watchmaking. You’ll then be introduced to the fundamentals of watchmaking before getting hands-on with a guided watchmaking workshop.

Guests then move on to the practical part of the workshop, working with an open UNITAS pocket watch movement, ten times larger than a conventional one, so that every component is clearly visible. Under the guidance of the watchmaker, each part is disassembled and explained in turn. The movement is then carefully reassembled by the guests, ending with the moment it begins to tick again.

To start the evening on the right note, enjoy a delicious glass of wine from Zürischum and enjoy delicious bites - the perfect way to settle in, recharge, and connect in a warm, social setting.
